Humidifier Setting Man/Auto?

| A few years ago I had an Aprilaire 600 humidifier installed. When the technician left he said I could run it in either the automatic or manual mode. I forgot about it now I'm trying to figure out what mode it's running in. How can I tell? And how do I change mode settings? Once this is cleared up I need to know how to tell if it's operating properly. Thanks |

| There is no sign of an outdoor sensor. How is the switch in the humidistat set when in the manual mode? To the right or left? |
