Posted by blearn (My Page) on

Need advice/confirmation if this will be a good combination for full HVAC system replacement for our home. Its a 2400Sf home in KS. I currently have an old Lennox 10seer 3.5 ton AC and 80% efficient furnace which are over 15 years old.

New System Specs....
Lennox XC14-048-230 4 ton 14 SEER single stage R-410A air conditioner
Lennox C33-48C-2F 4 ton cased evaporator coil

Lennox G61MP-60C-091 90,000 BTU 95% efficient 2 stage furnace

Thanks for your input in advance.

What size is existing furnace?

Why are you going up in size on your AC condenser?

Is a new refrigerant lineset included?

I would want the G61v furnace. And it will require a two stg thermostat for best operation.

What about a whole house air filter cabinet?

Post back.

The existing furnace is a Lennox G23 series - that is all I know.

Going up in size - as per the suggestion of the HVAC contractor. 3.5Ton works as of today.

Line flush for copper line set - is what is included

I am getting a new cabinet - to support 10/16 Merv filter.

G61V adds up another $500 to the bid - thermostat will be extra.

Thanks
