| checking operation here. fan motor starts up. i assume this is powered vent motor or ducted exhaust? 10 sec later, the gas burner starts up. not exactly a quiet unit. sounds like a jet engine on a super sabre. than 15 sec later the blower for the air distribution starts up. i think this unit is a 1999 vintage. puts out heat fine. the 3 step sequence just seems so slow. its a 1000sq/ft townhouse so i assume the furnace is 75k btu? approximately. |
