In March of this year I got a new furnace and AC system. I am pleased with it. They gave me one year of free service, coming out twice to check it an do routine maintenance. Once the year is up, they offer a maintenance program for $15.00 a month. It includes; Seems a little high to me, but what do I know. What do most people do? I'm capable of replacing my own filters. All the repair & parts seem like stuff I shouldn't be needing for a while since it's a new system.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

kathy77, I have an identical policy with my Heating Oil supplier in the Maryland suburbs of DC... $150 per year. This is for my furnace only - not the heat pump. A similar policy for the heat pump would be considerably more.

I think an annual maintenance check up for a gas fired furnace and AC is enough for a new system.
