Furnace in Summer Home

I have a summer home in the Adirondacks and would like to use it into the early winter months by adding a high efficiency propane furnace. This furnace would be shut down during the months of December through April when the temperatures drop to well below 0 degrees. I am being told by the man who installed the furnace in my primary home that I can't use a high efficiency furnace because it has a radiator in it and will freeze if not left on all the time. Does anyone have information about this, I can't find anything about radiators in furnaces on the web. Any help will be appreciated.
