Yes, and pert of the Marley/Wylain companies. But they kept the Weil McLain label on the boiler that people know.

If it was me I'd go with the smaller mass, self-cleaning stainless steel prestige with lower head through the block, than the high-head, larger mass, cast aluminum block from W/M.

Thanks, but why would they only guarantee their product for 1 year, when Weil-McLain are guaranteed (parts and labor) for 5 years? Is not that a sign of inherently lower reliability?

Also, what about Peerless Purefire? Like Prestige, they are fully modulated, and like Prestige, their warranty is also only 1 year. To me, this suggests, the full modulation is not as reliable as 5-to-1 modulation used by Weil-McLain.

The warranty was offered by the contractor, triangle tube also has extended warranties available. Triangle tube products are most reliable and troublefree in my opinion.

Zl, no, the 5 years parts and labor warranty is offered by the manufacturer. It is so easy to see for yourself  I even provided the link. Why post misinformation? Triangle tube products are most reliable and troublefree in my opinion.
