I live in Austin TX and my mother in law needs a new A/C unit. We had someone come to the house and quote her... I'm trying to help her find out if she's getting a good deal. The quote is for a 15 SEER American Standard. Part units: This is for an ALLEGIANCE 15 SERIES Condensor model # 4A7A5030E1000A
That includes a 10 year warranty and new plenums. The contractor said that this comes with a $500 rebate. All work done for $6,900. Is this a good deal? Thanks! |

| Is the $6900 before or after 500 rebate? It is hard to comment on price because every area has different price pressures and every job has its own challenges. Price is not on the low end but the equipment is good. |
