Comparable equipment?

I have two bids for HVAC systems that are comparable price but I'm not sure the equipment is apples to apples comparison. Any guidance is appreciated.

What size home?

I assume Man J at 45 K is for heating since you are being quoted 2 ton AC condensers.

I'll say upfront. I am not a Lennox fan. You should recheck that furnace model number.

The Trane furnace while not var speed does have the high eff blower. It will be very quiet. System qualifies for Fed Tax Credit. Drawbacks are the haircut on cooling BTUs for a 2 ton condenser and noise.

What size HVAC are you replacing?

I would want to know about new refrigerant lineset, thermostat, and how you filter return air.
