what is the best furnace & ac system

We were quoted $10,351. to provide & install:
1. York affinity 9.C modulating gas furnace w/variable speed blower.
2. York 410A ac unit
3. thermostat etc.
existing duct work will be used. Replacing a NOISY 15yr old Lennox Pulse.
Is the carrier infinity system a better system.
Contractor first quoted a Payne 80%+ system.
Would greatly appreciate any input. |

| This time of year you should be able to get a better price than the one you have quoted. For $9,000 and 12 months same as cash financing I have been offered a Trane XV90, 3 ton XL16i AC, AA 2200 air filter and thermostat. Your York unit should be much cheaper. Check with your local Trane dealer, they are running specials and giving rebates. |
