Pellet Stove Installation

First post, so be gentle. I am going to buy a Harmon pellet stove, model undetermined. I have a "platinum" dealer within walking distance of my house so I'm not going to go nuts looking at a million different brands.
The stove will be used in the basement of a small 2 bed ranch house. There used to be a gas-on-gas propane stove in the basement with an exhaust pipe through the basement wall. About 4 to 6 inch opening. Outside is the exhaust pipe with a cap and it is still in perfect condition. So, my question, can the pellet stove exhaust through this existing opening, is it big enough?
I do plan to poke another 1.5 inch hole in the wall to bring outside air into the stove. I am thinking I have the perfect setup for a pellet stove here as the cellar opens right to the back yard. Let me know your thoughts? Thanks much.
