Drain line pump

Hi, I am just a simple home owner and have been fighting the drain line to my AC for the past year. It just doesnt seem to want to drain. I have had multiple companies come out and try and fix the problem but that has not been successful at all... I am thinking that I would like to add a condensation pump to help the draining issue. My question is this: will the pump work okay if the drain line goes up hill? I might reroute the drain line in the attic and that would make the line go up about 6 feet from the unit and then it would go roughly 30 feet to the outside wall then down the exterior to drain. I am concerned that the pump might not be strong enough to push that much water up and out.
If this sounds okay do any of you recommend a pump?
