Bryant Evolution Control Pressure Monitoring for Air Filter

I have a Bryant Evolution Control for a 315AAV048090 2-stage gas furnace. Under Air Filter section in Evolution control settings, Pressure Monitoring is enabled and the default clean interval is set to 3 months. How do these two settings work? Shouldn't they mutually exclude each other?

Today the filter clean/replace message just pop up, exactly 3 months after the installation. So if it is fixed to 3 month interval, what's the point of Pressure Monitoring? Shouldn't the clean interval be based on pressure monitoring?

Thank you for your help in advance.
