Hi,
We live in the Baltimore-DC region in a 3,000 sq ft (1,500 sq ft footprint) split-level home (lower level is partially below grade). Just got two quotes from a Carrier dealer for a new AC and furnace (we are replacing a similarly-sized old 13 SEER AC unit that is on its last legs) and are hoping to get some feedback on whether the prices are reasonable or not!
24ANB7 (3-ton 2-stage condenser Infinity 17 SEER)
59TN6A (Infinity 80k BTU)
Evaporator coil, Infinity Touch Control
for $9400 including Carrier rebates, not including local or tax credits
OR
24ANB7 (same AC as above)
with 80k BTU Performance furnace (59TP5)
Evaporator coil and thermostat
for $8800 including Carrier rebates, not including local or tax credits
Thanks!
