Distance Between House and AC Unit

What's the minimum distance the ac unit needs from the house? Mine's several feet away sitting right on the property line. For a number of reasons, I'd like to move it closer to the house to get it at lease a couple of feet off the property line.

House in is Austin, TX FWIW.
