I just need some sort of reasoning or explanation, before I approach our repair person.

We have a split heating and cooling system, an electric heat pump, for our commericial office. Normally our pro comes out twice a year, spring and fall to clean, change filters, make sure condensation line is not plugged etc to make sure the system is operating correctly. This is what I dont understand.

They were supposed to come out mid-summer to tune-up etc. They never made it out.....................Now, I requested that they come out now, that the heating season will be soon upon us in the Northeast; and they they told my manager, what do you want us tune-up, your heating or cooling.

I really dont understand. Wouldnt they be all encompassing? I would assume its just as easy doing one versus the other? If its not the case, does it now make sense to do a tune-up or whatever is done now for the cooling end of it since we wont use till the spring or so?
