Complete HVAC rookie here. Got initial specs on HVAC system for 4000 sq ft above ground home (and 1000 sq ft basement) in DC area; any comments or suggestions are appreciated. No specific model# yet (I am working on it) and I meet with the HVAC installer next week.

My GC proposes:

Humidifier: April Air Bypass Model 600

Media Filter: Honeywell Model HF150E1026 (16x25)

Zonex Zone Damper Control System (2X) (Separates Basement & 1st Floor)

Thermostat: Honeywell Digital Model TH3210D (All Zones)

Zonex Zone Damper Control System (2X) (Separates Master & 2nd Floor)

Carrier Infinity Series Equipment (VS/18.5 SEER)
