| What is good product for cleaning the slime, from a Trane indoor coil/ pan that won't damage it ? I use 50/50 bleach/ water for the condensate line, but maybe something is better. I have some small flies and think they may be coming from the slime that builds up in the Ac. Have you heard of drain flies coming out of an AC unit ? I have cleaned and eliminated the drains as a source. Thank you |

| Golfer 1512, Once you clean the "Slime" you should install a UV Lamp. This will kill molds, bacteria, viruses,... Installing a two bulb Lamp over the coil will kill anything on the "A" coil. Tests have shown that only 20 minutes per month are required to eliminate mold on the coil. Hope That Helps! Dan |
