| Good morning.
I was quoted on a Carrier heat pump/air handler that includes the Carrier Performance 25HPA536 (is that the same as the 25HPA536H31?) and the FX4DWF043 air handler.
If the compressor is not not a 2 speed or variable compressor and the 25HPA536 is not, but rather has a 5 speed motor which I am told is different than a variable or 2 speed compressor, do I need or would I want to have a variable speed air handler? Why? Thank you! |

| I had that same model HP installed last month with a VS Furnace/air handler. It works great with the Infinity controls and does an excellent job on controlling humidity. If an installer says a single speed HP will not work with a VS air handler, think I'd find another installer. |
