 o
Ball Park price

Hello All,

You experts are in the field 24/7, that's why I'm asking.

The question is is a 4000 $ price differiantial between a 13 SEER and a 16 SEER 5 ton Carrier heat pump about right.

This is for a new install on a new house. The units I'm sure would be builders bottom of the line, for both 13 and 16.

I don't have any model numbers the house and builder are in FL. and I'm in Ohio so there is a disconnect.

I know location drives the price and demand. But, is $500 to high or $3000 to high? I know builders don't like upgrades so they price things higher.... but $4000?

We can't be 100% here but I's ok .... just a ball park.

Thanks,
Scott

RE: Ball Park price

Can't really give you an informed opinion without complete mdl numbers for both systems.

This price difference is from a dealer or GC? GCs are notorious for taking advantage of homeowners in HVAC area for new construction.

IMO
