Honeywell DH65 Ducted Dehumidifier

I need a whole house dehumidifier and I'm considering this one. Can anybody tell me how noisy it is? I'll be putting it in a small mechanical closet next to a bedroom.

I have a ultra air 70 h whole house dehumidifier.
it is a 70 pint.
it is in the top of the linen closet that is
living room on one side and bedroom on the other side.

I was worried about it being noisy, so I built
a box out of ductboard to quiten it down.
so far I haven't put the final side of the
box in place, as it is pretty quiet.
a little louder than the ahu nearby, but
not by much.

neither make much noise.

you can always use ductboard line the inside of
the mechanical closet.

best of luck.

RE: Honeywell DH65 Ducted Dehumidifier

I really need one so I may have to buy it then improvise as you did. I made a mistake about the model number. It's DR65 instead of DH65. It looks identical to the Ultra Aire 70H so the noise should be similar. Thanks for the helpful reply.
