| Have a Heat Pump thermostat that I would like to use on a central air conditioning system (uses resistance heat....not heat pump). Can I use this t-stat on such system? |

| Yes, normally. There will be extra connections that you do not need. Is it programmable? Depending on the model it might be possible to access a setup menu and change it to non-heatpump mode. |
