Baseboard heater

Hello,
I have a dilemma for the heating a playroom. There is no any other way to heat the room another than electricity. We have been using a regular 8' baseboard until recently. The problem with the baseboard is the safety - it is easy for kids to drop a toy in the opening or touch the hot elements inside. Now we want to replace the baseboard. What would be an alternative? I would appreciate your advise. Thank you!

Mini split HP....

Not cheap but a good alternative.

For a goodly number of years, electric baseboard heaters have an integral internal thermostat that limits the temperature to 156 deg. Fires and serious burns are thus unlikely.
The external thermostat is still a necessity.
Do people ever give their children instructions?
