Noise of 2 stage 96% variable versus 98% modulating Carrier Furnace

I have had a single stage 100,000 BTU Lennox furnace for 16 yrs that is very noisy.

The furnace is below are bedroom.

From the standpoint of quietness, which would be better a 2 stage variable Carrier 59TN6100-20 or Modulating Carrier Furnace 59MN7A100V21-22?

Are modulating noisier or quieter?
