| I have a house that I am remodeling an upstairs area of a garage to make three bedrooms and a bath plus looking to heat and cool a Florida room that is enclosed and going to be adding a second unit for cooling and heat. The total square feet is about 1200. Is a 2 ton unit large enough? |

| Clint What is your location? You should perform a load calculation for both heating and cooling. My guess is a two ton might be undersized. Let the load calc be your guide though. What type of system are you considering? This 1200 sq ft is above a garage? If so, finished areas above a garage are notorious to heat and cool. You definitely want superior insulation qualities and windows need to be high quality DP. IMO |
