| I tried to post this question earlier but I think I confused people. I have a 6" duct that ran into a fully open 10 X 10 box in my rafters in my unfinished basement.
The basement is now almost finished. The 10 x 10 box does not fit with my ceiling grid system. I can run the 6" duct directly thru the ceiling tile with a 6 " round grill. Alternatively, I can run the 6" duct to a 10 X 6 boot and have a 10 x 6 grill. Is there any benfit to one or the other in so far as air movement or is all asthetics? |
