Kitchen Venting using 10 inch x 3.5 inch duct - 1200 CFM?

We are having a heck of a time during our kitchen remodel...we would like to install a 1200 CFM vent (BEST IQ) but cannot change the path to bypass a 10" x 3.5" rectangle duct.

We were told by salespeople and installation people that you could install a 1200 CFM but that you would lose about 35% of the CFM output.

The total run for our duct would be connecting straight up to via a 10x3.5 duct, a right turn to connect with an 8" round. There is one more turn after 10' that connects to outside after 15'.

So would we be crazy to install a 1200 CFM unit? Would there be any danger to installing a 1200 CFM unit? Would it be significantly noisier? Would it void the warranty?

We are looking at a Wolf 36" Gas so the BTU would 86K.
