Carrier central air.....humming.....buzzing noise

I noticed today the my Carrier a/c compressor unit has
developed a humming/buzzing noise while running. The unit
is less than one year old. The humming is loud and noticeable. Also, when the compressor shuts off.....the
blower (in furnace) continues to run for another minute.....
with the compressor fan off. Comments/Help?

The blower will usually continue to run for a minute after the condenser shuts down. The purpose of this is to push out any remaining cool air in the duct work.

Some humming or buzzing is normal, but it is loud then I suggest having it inspected before the one year anniversary.

the humming noise (very noticeable)......just started
it did not make that noise a few days ago.....i'll
called the place i bought it from tomorrow.

it seems like the humming sound went away.....i will check tomorrow........the humming noise was there this morning and the noise disappeared later on......i hope there is no problem.
