Air flow versus refrig charge

I had a 2 ton system installed and they used a 12 inch return duct with a 20x20 filter rack. The filter would make alot of noise so I replaced the 12 inch with 16 inch. The noise is gone and it seems there is more air flow, do I really need to have the charge checked? The system is cooling well just curious.

since the noise issue is resolved and home is comfortable, I wouldn't bother either.

if you are motivated, you could check TD. you want a split about 15 degree minimum between supply temp and return temp.

IMO
Good Luck!
