Just to close the loop on some stuff and maybe vent a little. A while back I asked about converting from oil to NG for my furnace etc. Well that's all out the window ..it seems the gas company wants to charge the 7 of us on this dead end road $11,000 each to run the line that would have "T'ed " off the connecting road to our street... reason they claim black shale, yet they did no core sampling .. just don't get it.

Mind you that $11,000 each is just to put the line in the street ..not run it the house etc. Thanks for letting me vent!
