Tran XR12 Loud Pitch Noise from Heat Pump

XR-12 Heat Pump, 10 years old, making a loud pitched noise after unit has stopped. The noise is similar to a smoke detector going off.

The Run Cap. and fan motor were replaced 1 month ago and the tech said the system is running fine and no R22 needed to be added. The noise
first appeared a month ago after the tech replaced the run cap. He came back out and recommended changing the fan motor which he did and the problem did not reappear till this morning.

Also, yesterday while working near the unit after it shut down the system made a hissing sound.
