I have an opportunity to buy Dow Blue Board XPS 2" very cheap. I would like to make baffles out of this instead of the store bought baffles. I would then put fiberglass insulation as normal. Is there any reason why I should not do this? The house is a cape. I figure I could increase the R value of the area by about R10 by doing this. Would this create a moisture issue between the Blue Board and the fiberglass insulation?
