What size home or zone?

Cooling BTUs for a 5 ton AC is pathetic. EER is poor.

WE have 2 zones , kitchen/ den 1500 and bedrooms 1500 ft approx
total 3000 sqft and trying to combine in all 1 zone . all on 1 story home.
the existing outside systems are 2 ton and 2.5 ton .
The gas furnace are 75000 & 50000 btu.
Please let me know if more info needed.
The TRANE tech did a manual load calculation, but not giving in writing.

If going from 2 systems to one larger system, do you plan on using zoning controls? You will be disappointed if you don't plus you lose both comfort and a degree of redundancy if system goes out over having two separate systems.

Yes we will be putting zoning control with new duct work ( trunk line, flex )
Supply and return, new line set .
We still have another zone which is upstairs and so called. 3 rd zone.
My question iID it a right way to go or should we keep 3 zones
So far had 3 tech came out to bid only 1 think we should but he wants 37000
