| Hi,
I have an Amana central airconditioning unit, which up 'til this years worked fairly well. It's a model ERH030, is at least 9 years old, and was here when we bought the house. It hums, but the fan does not turn. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth fixing, and what might be wrong with it. I have the iformation from it's face plate if that will help. Thanks, ..... john |

| Could be something simple (bad/weak capacitor). It is not old enough to rule out repair, especially if it is an easy fix. You'll need to call a service tech out to diagnose and quote a repair. |
