What should a Carrier ac and gas furnace cost?

Replacing our 11 year old residential ac and furnace with a Carrier Infinity 16 ac and infinity 80 gas furnace. Is $8217.00 a fair price? This price is before a few rebates totaling $1,000.00. Do dealers inflate their prices to allow for these rebates?

Just want to be sure I am getting a fair price.
