| older forced air system. is working. cold air at vents. took out pleated filter last week and have not replaced it. does not seem to be much if any water coming out drain tube. no wet spot under furnace. does increased airflow across coil result in less moisture removal? yes i will get new filter. |

| "does increased airflow across coil result in less moisture removal?" If it flows faster then the coil was designed for it may not cool off enough to remove moisture as well. |
