After a long, two-week horrid series of events with no A/C, I've finally installed a new HP System to replace a carrier/Bryant system only 10 years old.

My house is all electric and rural, lots of oak trees and sand around, central OK area. I decided on XR15 with TAM7 a/h. After seeing other posts, I rejected the 402 and dealer has now provided the TCONT803 stat. However, installer has left for the night after failing to get the 803 to communicate properly with condenser and kick the cool on. I presume this will be corrected tomorrow.
I've been googling for reasons to explain com problem, but came across comments indicating the hw vision iaq may be a better option than 803, as it will slow blower in addition to over cooling for humidity control. Is this true? Am I better off to replace 803 with vision IPA, or does it matter?

My dealer is no help in this area.
