| I'm wanting to use condensate tablets monthly to keep the primary drain line clean. If I understand it correctly, the tablet needs to go in the pan that's under the panel marked A in the picture. However, that panel is sealed shut w/ not only screws, but a grey colored caulk-like goo around the edges. If I were able to get the tablet through the line w/ the float switch (marked B), would that get me on the primary pan? |

| "would that get me on the primary pan? " Maybe. The tablets can also damage pans and coils by causing more corrosion. There is often a combination of metals used, aluminum, copper, & galvanized steel. Adding anything that could crate ions in the condensate is not a great idea with the different metals all in contact and wet. |
