| I have 4 quotes for heating and a/c systems in Milwaukee, WI. Home is 2100 sqft 2 story.
1. Armstrong Air 95v 2 stage variable speed 80,000 BTU furnace and 14 SEER 1 stage 3 ton A/C $5,533.
Any and all advise is greatly appreciated. |

| john I would expect the Armstrong to be the least expensive. #2 and #3 are identical. Carrier and Bryant are sister companies. Was the Infinity/Evolution controller included? post mdl number of the Luxaire/York furnace. Carrier and Bryant are expected to release their new and full modulating furnace this summer which will compete with the York/Luxaire. any warranty difference among the quotes? qte #2 is a good price if it includes all from my list above. | #2 is probably the best deal. I would ask about upgrading the A/C to a heatpump. It shouldn't cost much and it would give you extra flexibility. Even if your not a huge heatpump fan you can run then only on mild weather (above 40 or so). |
