Finding replacement parts

Posted by axxel (My Page) on

Is there a trick to this? I want to replace my window ac fan motor. I googled the brand and part number and only thing that pops up is an ebay used motor. Are there any good websites to find parts?

If I were to find an aftermarket motor, how would I know it's compatible?

Thanks

AppliancePartsPros.com
ApplianceZone.com
PartsTap.com
PartsDr.com
RepairClinic.com
SearsPartsDirect.com

Among others.

Some have breakdown diagrams, some just parts listings.

A non-OEM motor would have to match shaft sizes, mounting method, rotational direction, RPM, wattage/amperage, compatible wiring harness, etc. of the original.
