which AC unit?

I've been told that I need to replace one of my 2 AC/heat units. It's a pretty big house, and I think it's the unit that covers most of the house (the downstairs). I got 2 estimates, one with 3 options. I'm completely confused!!!!!!! It's hot and humid here in the summer (NY), I NEED TO MAKE A DECISION!! Here's the choices:
1)$7,000 - Luxaire 100,000 BTU gas fired furnace with matching 4 ton Evaporator coil, and 1 4-ton 13 seer 410 condensing unit.
2) $8,658.00-2 Stage Bryant Furnaces and 13 SEER A/C
3)$11,055.00 - 2-Stage Bryant Variable Speed Furnace
And 16 SEER A/C
4)$14,515.00 - 2-Stage Bryant 97% Variable Speed Furnace And 17 SEER A/C

thanks so much for any advise you can offer,

Martha
