| I've been thinking about putting a wood pellet boiler (not a stove) in my new house. we're just in planning stages but from what little research i've done, it seems interesting. Plus supporting local economy is a double bonus. I'm all about shopping local!
Does anyone have one or knows someone who has one installed? |

| I don't know anyone who has a pellet boiler. I'm not sure they're allowed where I live, they release a lot of pollutants into the environment. It seems like an archaic device, a step back from modern times. If you have any kind of gas available and/or if you live in a heat pump friendly area, I don't know why you'd want to consider something that burns dirty and requires physical effort to load and clean. |
