Any advice on these two setups would be great. Price is fairly comparable between each, different installers, both of which I felt comfortable with. Climate is Charlotte area, standard 2 story 2,000 sqft home. Thank you

Please keep all posts in one thread. It is just good forum etiquette and helps forum members follow thread and offer advice.

What is age, brand, size of existing furnaces?

If only conventional furnaces non var speed models, you are just as well off staying with good basic 13 SEER models. I would lean toward the same brand as the furnace if you don't intend to replace in near future. For the Lennox quote, I would stay with XC13 model over the XC14 if it saves you any bux.

You should recheck the Lennox warranty. Is that a dealer warranty or a Lennox warranty? Makes a difference to me.

I personally prefer the XR13 Trane over the Lennox. What are price differences?
