Please clear up confusion Trane XR 16 2-stage vs Trane XR 15 2-st

Our upstairs unit was needing a new coil so we just decided to replace the unit. We have quotes on 2 different options but just don't know what the differences are.

Option 1:
Trane 3 Ton XR16 Air conditioner with 2 stage compressor, XV 80 2 stage gas furnace with variable speed fan, high efficiency comfort coil with TXV, and TCONT803 touchscreen control with dehumidification feature. System rated for 16 SEER and 13 EER.

Option 2:
Trane 3 Ton XR 15 Air conditioner, XV80 2 stage gas furnace with VS fan, cased comfort coil with TXV, and TCONT602 Digital programmable control, System rated for 15 SEER and 12.5 EER.

Both systems include: metal insulated supply/return plenums, manual air dampers, air tight mastic sealant, heavy gauge emergency drain pan with "ceiling saver" float switch, commercial grade uni-strut support bars for furnace, 4" honeywell filter, gas flex line with sediment trap, concrete pad, service disconnects (both units) and duct/flue modification.

Are these basically the same or are there significant differences?
We live in Texas so time is of the essence.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
