 o
Zoned system?

Has anyone had a zoned system installed? Did you find the home comfortable and with lower bills? We have been recommended a 5 ton XL16i variable stage Trane heat pump zoned system (new furnace and AC) for our 2 story home. There seems to be lots of people who favor 2 systems for the redundancy, but zoning seems to have a few positives also...
Any advice?

RE: Zoned system?

If you are in heat pump land, consider heat pump mini splits. They have lots of zoning and as much redundancy as you choose. They are very efficient, no duct losses.
