Hello everyone,

I have a GE 5KCP39LFY534AS 1/4 HP, 220 Volt, 3 wire motor that was previously used as an exhaust fan for a AC unit. I would like to use the motor and attached blades as an exhaust for a Pole Barn. The only parts I have is the motor, cage, and blades - it was given to me.

The wiring diagram shows a capacitor attached across the brown and yellow wires, with yellow and black being hot.

My question is, other than attaching the two hots to the appropriate circuit breaker, and a 220 rated switch, what else is needed to make it operational?

I would very much appreciate specificity so I attach the wires correctly.
