Hi~ We own a vacation home in Delaware and the 2nd floor is unfinished, no duct work, etc. We are in the process of deciding whether to go with installing a traditional heat pump, like our downstairs, or go with a ductless system. We will have two rooms, a fairly large family room and a Master Bedroom, and then 1.5 baths. So far, the estimate for the traditional heat pump system is $8,300. and that is to install a Bryant 2 Ton heat pump (15 SEER). Install fan coil in the closet area with overflow pan and float switch. All supply and return vents to be R-8 foil faced flexible supply trunk to be gal metal with 3" fol faced insulation. Provide all other installation, etc.
