Dual load baseboard heat relay

I have a White Rodgers dual load relay model 24A06G-1 (so I can use one thermostat with 2 circuits) that has one relay sticking in the "ON" position. I installed it last May. It stuck once before but I just hit it and it released the contacts. Is this a common problem with these? Is it defective?

I have no experience with this relay. I was curious how these worked so I took a look at the data sheet.

The relay could be sticking and is defective, but there could also be another problem. The data sheet says the current from the thermostat needs to be 0.4 amp in order to close both relays. Can you measure how much current the thermostat is supplying? If it is too low this may cause to the relays to not close reliably.
