| I HAVE VOLTAGE ON MY YELLOW WIRE FROM T STAT TO DEFROST BOARD BUT NONE COMMING OUT TO CONTACTOR.The board is bad so jumped the voltage to the contactor to get heat pump to run .Will the unit go into defrost with it jumped ? Or will the timer not work when it calls for defrost. Ifogot to check? |

| This is a rhetorical question. If you guess you will have a fifty, fifty shot at getting it right. In this case there is such a thing as a stupid question. Don't worry keep jumping stuff out and you won't have to worry about a defrost cycle because you will need a new compressor. |
