i installed a new 3 ton carreir greenspeed heatpump which replaced a 10 year old 12 seer carrier. I was expecting a 25 to 33 percent reduction in elec. bill based upon this heatpump and additional improvedments i've made.
In nov. I see a reduction of 3 kilowat hours used. In Dec. our consumption increased from1044 to 1179 the temp was 2 degrees colder. In jan we had another increase in consumption 1416 to 1546 and temp dropped 4 degrees.
The installers have been out and insist that it is using the proper ampage of 5 watts. Yet I have higher bills. I would appreciate some assistance.
