This or ANY OTHER screen will do more harm than good when mounted on the coils. While it's true the sreen will stop trash before it enters the coils,the screen blocks a large % of air. You can find exatly what % by taking the diameter of the strand material and multiplying it by the # of feet contained in the screen. Visualize a 3'x3' window that is having ping pong balls blown through it by high volicity air. Now cover the window with lattic. If the holes in lattic are same diameter as the balls and lattic work is equaly sized,less than 50% of balls will make it through the window in a given time. If you do the calculation above then see how many square feet of screen contains enough openings to equal square inch area of coil surface,that amount of screen set up in mesqutio net fashion will do what you are attempting without restricting air flow.
